I really like the finished results of these embossing plates. The design of the product makes it easy to put together a myriad of options for creating great cards, scrapbooks and other crafts.

However, there are so numerous difficulties that make this product less than perfect, and it’s all to do with unclear and missing product information. The initial problem is the finish lack of instructions on this page and with the productions I have had my Cuttlebug for assorted years now and am applied to the embossing folders. I mistakenly assumed that the plates worked in a similar fashion. They do not. If you’re purchasing any of the embossing plates for the initial time, you must acknowledge that you in addition need to purchase the Cuttlebug All-In-One 6-Inch by 9-Inch Folder in order to use its That’s listed in the “Product Features” but it isn’t precisely clear until you purchase the embossing plates.

Second, there are no instructions on the embossing plates or on the All-In-One Folder to show you which of your Cuttlebug spacers to use with the plates and the folder. You should use both of the “B” plates. I found this by viewing this Cuttlebug video: [...]

Before you purchase any of the embossing plates, I highly commend watching the YouTube video to see how to use them.

I am super disappointed in this Cuttlebug products I was so excessively affected emotionally in regards to this set and the design of the plates. I was even excited with regards to the neat small “tool” box it came in for storage. Then I opened it, tried one plate, had difficulties with the 2 plates slipping/not lining up and then…crunch the plate was distroyed b/c Cuttlebug put 2 little nubs on the backside of the plates. These stupid things push up through the plate and ruin it and the paper.

I love everything Cuttlebug and this item is no exception.The person plates may be employed in so many dissimilar ways and configurations.
